Every organization has a system for developing their employees either through classroom training, computer-based training systems, Webinars or off site training. However, few organizations follow a best practice or industry standard of guidelines for professional development. A good example of a best practice would be practices that typically include assessment, planning, implementation and some sort of improvement plan with measurable outcomes.
